What is melasma?
Melasma or blotches is the name of hyperpigmentations on the skin, mainly occurring on the face, the neck and the hands. It is an acquired skin disease characterized by symmetric patches of hyperpigmentation on the face.
How does mesotherapy treat melasma?
Face brightening mesotheapy is a simple process during which we inject through the help of microneedles various substances into the lower dermis. In the case of melisma we use brightening substances for the application of mesotherapy. These substances are glutathione, glycolic acid, retinol, vitamin c, rutin mellot as well as hyaluronic acid.
Is the treatment of melasma with brightening face mesotherapy painfull?
A special anesthetic cream is applied 30 min before so that the treatment is very well tolerated.
How many sessions do I have to do?
The number of sessions depends on the case. Usually 2-3 sessions are needed with a 15-30 days interval.
The above case had 4 seesions of mesotherapy in a span of 1 month, along with her cream treatment which she did at home.
