Why do lips crack in winter?

It is the most obvious sign that we are in the heart of winter. With the drop in temperature and while we make sure to cover the body, hands and even the head, one spot still remains uncovered and suffers. The lips, which are permanently exposed to the hostile environment, throughout the year. The problem becomes more intense because of the bad habit we have of frequently wetting our lips with saliva during the day. When the saliva evaporates, it dehydrates them even more as wet and cold air removes all the natural, protective oils. And the situation gets worse when we try to “peel” chapped lips, which end up bleeding and irritated. To keep them smooth and soft, lips need daily protection. The point is to “seal” the normal, whatever moisture reserves there are and, at the same time, to offer extra nutrition with oils. We thus strengthen the protective barrier and help to quickly heal any irritations.

MESOPEN

Mesopen is an alternative form of mesotherapy. It helps the penetration of active substances, creating portals of entry into the skin barrier with the creation of controlled micronulls, thanks to its specially designed head (pen with 12 tiny titanium pins), without obvious skin injury. Through this mechanism of action, the penetration capacity of the active substances increases.
