What is the CO2 Laser and how does it work?

  by Dr. Yiannis Neofytou

What is the CO2 Laser and how does it work?
The CO2 laser is a surgical carbon dioxide laser that emits an invisible, intense beam of light.
The CO2 laser is applied to both the face and the body to treat various skin lesions such as:
Papillomas
Ants
Warts
Seborrheic hyperkeratosis
Syringomas
Nodules
Other benign skin lesions
What is the application process
After applying local anesthesia, the lesion is gradually sublimated until it is completely removed, leaving the adjacent skin tissue unaffected. The session can last from 10 minutes to half an hour depending on the number and size of the lesions to be removed.
What results does the treatment have and when is the result visible?
The CO2 laser treatment leads to complete elimination of the existing lesions at that moment while the recovery time is short.

MESOPEN

Mesopen is an alternative form of mesotherapy. It helps the penetration of active substances, creating portals of entry into the skin barrier with the creation of controlled micronulls, thanks to its specially designed head (pen with 12 tiny titanium pins), without obvious skin injury. Through this mechanism of action, the penetration capacity of the active substances increases.
