  by Dr. Yiannis Neofytou

What is a Spitz nevus?
A Spitz nevus is a special type of mole that is often red, pink, or light brown in color, but can also include a mixture of these colors.Spitz nevi show great histological heterogeneity and often have atypical or malignant features.Sometimes an atypical atypical Spitz nevus can look like a melanoma. One way to distinguish an atypical pigmented Spitz nevus from melanoma is to at least investigate it with biopsy and histological examination just so as not to risk overlooking tumor formation.
In such cases, surgical removal of the mole is then sufficient

MESOPEN

Mesopen is an alternative form of mesotherapy. It helps the penetration of active substances, creating portals of entry into the skin barrier with the creation of controlled micronulls, thanks to its specially designed head (pen with 12 tiny titanium pins), without obvious skin injury. Through this mechanism of action, the penetration capacity of the active substances increases.
