by Dr. Yiannis Neofytou

What are skin tags?

Skin tags are small skin bumps that look like moles. A skin tag may be pink, light brown or dark brown. Papillomas are caused by HPV, but are not as easily transmitted as warts.

How do I know if I skin tags?

The patient alone can not perceive it, as they look like common olives – nevus. It is necessary to consult a dermatologist, who through a clinical examination will determine their existence.

Point of appearance of skin tags:

* Neck

* Armpits

* Back

* Under the chest

* Eyelashes

* Face

* Thighs

Their removal can be done with:

CO2 laser: The laser targets directly to the lesion without leaving marks and scars – painless method with immediate recovery, visible and permanent results.
