Seborrheic dermatitis

Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic or recurrent form of inflammatory dermatitis. The symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis is the appearance of red scales or scales, skin irritation and intense itching. It is located mainly in parts of the body where there is intense sebum production (seborrhea) from the sebaceous glands, such as between the scalp and the hairline, eyebrows, nose, chest, etc. It is characterized by periods of flare-ups and depression, while in the summer months it shows improvement due to sun exposure.
Depending on the stage and severity of the symptoms, the treating physician may recommend antifungal agents, topical creams with anti-inflammatory action.
