Dermatology Surgery
Dermatosurgery is the application of surgical techniques in order to remove benign and cancerous skin lesions.
Surgical removal is the first choice for malignant skin lesions. Additionally a number of benign skin lesions, the removal of which is desirable such as lipomas, dermoid cysts, hypertrophic scars, keloids et al. can be treated with dermatosurgical interventions.
No. Dermatosurgical interventions take place at the clinic’s operating space, usually last less than 30 minutes and only require local anesthesia.
Before the surgical procedure an examination-appointment precedes, where an assessment of the damage to be removed and the patient’s health takes place, while specialized guidance and information are given.
After the dermatosurgical intervention a reexamination takes place in predetermined time to remove eventual sutures and reassessment.
The removed lesions are sent to a pathology laboratory for examination by histopathology.
MESOPEN
Mesopen is an alternative form of mesotherapy. It helps the penetration of active substances, creating portals of entry into the skin barrier with the creation of controlled micronulls, thanks to its specially designed head (pen with 12 tiny titanium pins), without obvious skin injury. Through this mechanism of action, the penetration capacity of the active substances increases.
