Definition
Localized autoimmune skin disease.
Causes
The sun can cause new rashes and worsen those that already exist, and the same can be caused by medications.
Other factors that aggravate the condition include severe cold, insect bites, stress, a generalized illness, and external injuries.
It has nothing to do with allergies.
Symptoms
Red, dry spots with clear borders and exfoliation, the size of which grows slowly.
The healing starts from the center of the spots, where the skin becomes pale, thin and transforms into scars.
Investigation
Histological examination, which includes screening-ANA screening with immunofluorescence technique.
