Cold Sores

The term “cold sores” refers to the clinical manifestation caused by the herpes virus (HSV1) when it infects the area around the mouth.
What Is Herpes Liposuction And Where Does It Occur?
As its name suggests, cold sores affect the lips as well as the inside of the mouth or the area around it. It usually appears as a painful blister with fluid on the outside of the lips or the surrounding area, which then “breaks” and creates an open wound.
Cold Sores – Symptoms Shortly Before Its Appearance
* often preceded by a burning sensation,
* numbness,
* but also itching in the area around the mouth.
Cold Sores – Diagnosis
The diagnosis can be made by the dermatologist based on the information provided by the patient and through a simple physical examination, due to the characteristic appearance of the wounds that develop. The severity of the condition varies depending on the body of each individual.
