Basal cell carcinoma

by Dr. Yiannis Neofytou

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common form of skin cancer.

It occurs in the basal cells located in the deeper layers (layers) of the skin (surface layer). Almost all basal cell carcinomas occur in areas of the body that have been extensively exposed to the sun – especially the face, ears, neck, head, shoulders and back. People at high risk have light skin, blond or red hair and blue, green or gray eyes.

The most commonly affected are the older people. If you notice any warning signs or any other worrying or persistent change in your skin, consult your doctor as soon as possible.

MESOPEN

Mesopen is an alternative form of mesotherapy. It helps the penetration of active substances, creating portals of entry into the skin barrier with the creation of controlled micronulls, thanks to its specially designed head (pen with 12 tiny titanium pins), without obvious skin injury. Through this mechanism of action, the penetration capacity of the active substances increases.
